Design policy

Designing and implementing a good web site is not as easy at it seems. It is true that one can rustle up a web site quickly using an editor such as FrontPage or DreamWeaver. But there is much more to web design than just clicking together some buttons and images.

Cross-browser compatibility

One very important thing when programming a web site is not to focus on one or two browsers. Web sites should look the same for all modern browsers. Therefore we always design web sites so that they have the same output in different browsers. Web sites are only released after extensive testing procedures in various browsers. We make sure that our web sites are viewable for

  • Internet Explorer 6 and higher
  • Firefox 1 and higher
  • Netscape 7 and higher
  • Opera 7 and higher
  • Mozilla 1 and higher

Usability

Too many web sites have a poor navigation or are crammed with information which makes it impossible for the user to find what he is looking for. We are highly aware that a web site, no matter how well designed it may be, fails if it is not easily usable and clearly laid out. To maximize surfing comfort we include navigations, search fields, breadcrumb navigations and site maps.
