Gagliano web design was initiated by maths student Bruno Gagliano. He discovered his passion for the web in 2002, when he was studying information technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Basel. During his studies he taught himself the scripting language PHP, which was an ideal complement to the C++ and database lectures.
After graduation in 2003 that he started developing web sites using PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS. The programming resulted in a self-made CMS, that he used for small web sites. In 2006 he discovered the CMS Typo3, at a time when Version 4.0 was released. It was love at first sight, and since then he is programming web sites with Typo3. His programming with this CMS has led to the development of Typo3 extensions, of which the sports club extension is freely available on the Typo3 Extension Repository.
Bruno Gagliano is currently working on his master thesis in mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and will finish studies in February 2008.
